Nima started TFS in Senior Kindergarten with no prior knowledge of French.
Nima is passionate about science and committed to helping others. As Prefect of the Outreach Club, he mobilized fellow students to raise funds for numerous charities, from a local food bank to an international street kids program. He’s been a member of Student Council and War Child, and a writer for the school newspaper. And through TFS, Nima also volunteered often at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where he assisted veterans, was part of the wheelchair assistance program and was a companion on an oncology ward.
Nima’s other TFS accomplishments:
-The Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award
-Le Prix Roberte Risgalla for accomplishment in the French language
-Candidate for a Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma
Nima is interested in applying to medical school, and he’s well on his way. He’s received offers from University of Toronto and Queen's University, both in life sciences, but has decided to attend McMaster University in the Arts and Science Program.
