Toronto French School welcomes approximately 1,240 students: 200 at our Mississauga campus and 1,040 at our Toronto campus. Our students range in age from 3 year-olds to students ready to enter university.
TFS is co-educational; we believe that boys and girls learn best together and from each other. Advantages to co-education include exchanging diverse perspectives and opinions, maintaining healthy relationships with students of the opposite sex and emerging – upon graduation – with a wide network of contacts. A co-ed school also allows family members – brothers and sisters – to enjoy the same educational experience. In addition, regular interaction ensures that students will feel comfortable in the co-ed worlds of university and work.
TFS is a non-denominational school. We welcome students and staff from all cultures and religions. In fact, our students represent more than 60 different cultural and ethnic backgrounds and speak over 30 different languages at home. Their personal values and backgrounds enrich the learning experience for their peers.
The international perspective in TFS programs nurtures our students’ growth into responsible and compassionate global citizens. Students learn to express themselves effectively, respect the opinions of others, and participate actively in assuming the challenges that face our community locally and internationally.
