TFS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.  As an IB school, all our students pursue the IB Diploma during the last two years of high school, in fact the majority opt to pursue a Bilingual IB Diploma.

The IB Curriculum is a comprehensive and rigorous program  which encourages the acquisition and implementation of skills, knowledge and values that will prepare our students for success in further academic and personal pursuits. The success of the IB program in preparing students for post-secondary studies has been acknowledged by many of the most selective universities around the world.

Under the direction of the IB Coordinator, students are counselled by the Guidance department to ensure that their course choices comply with the IB hexagon. Additionally, students write an Extended Essay as part of their IB requirements. At the end of the two-year program, all students write examinations in six subjects (three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level).

As an IB Diploma school, TFS respects and promotes the values expressed in the IB Learner Profile and French IB Learner Profile, such as striving to be knowledgeable, caring, principled, and open-minded.
