The cornerstone of the TFS mission has always been its dedication to the achievement of bilingual academic excellence and an internationally informed perspective. Affiliation with external examining bodies – the French Ministry of Education and the IBO – ensures that our performance is measured by transnational, objective and demanding standards that create a global peer group for TFS students. This unique set of foundational priorities continues to be the primary motivating factor for parents in their decision to choose TFS. Our elementary and intermediate curricula combine the strengths of French and Ontario programs and culminate in the Diplôme National du Brevet in Levels I and II. This program and its external examinations demonstrate our students’ first language competencies in French. In our final two years, the compulsory International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB) prepares our students for post-secondary study at home or abroad. This learning continuum, with its balance of liberal arts breadth and the depth of study in IB Higher level courses, honours our motto: Connaissance est force - Knowledge is Strength.
