The Admissions Office, located on our Toronto campus, handles applications for both the Toronto and West campuses, from Jardin d'éveil Hafez (age 2) to Grade 12.

Please note that new applications for children with siblings currently attending TFS and for children of alumni are given priority in terms of space availability.
How to Apply
In order to start your application please follow the steps below:
1. Login or create your TFS account
Create your TFS account, or skip to step 2 if you already have an account with us.
2. Apply
Once you have a TFS account, login to the admissions portal to start your application.

Step 1: Application

- Please note there is no application fee for Jardin d'éveil.
Step 2: Assessment
- All candidates will be invited to a 30-minute group play session on Saturday morning, January 17, 2026.
Step 3: Online Parent Interview
Step 4: Decision
- Admissions decisions will be communicated via email on Friday, February 20, 2026.
- Children in Jardin d’éveil will move to PK the following year on the recommendation of the principal. There is no application necessary for PK.

- JK applicants: 30 minute group play session on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. held at the Toronto Campus.
- SK and Grade 1 applicants: 45 minute group play session on the morning of Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. held at the Toronto Campus.
Step 3: Online Family Interview
- Virtual family interviews will be scheduled from early October to late January 2026.
- Admissions decisions will be communicated via email on Friday, February 20, 2026.

- All candidates, for Toronto and West campuses, who meet the admissions requirements will be invited to participate in a group assessment (math, English and French if applicable), held at the Toronto campus.
Step 3: Online Interview
- Grade 2 candidates will be invited to a virtual family interview and Grades 3 to 5 candidates will be invited to a virtual parent and student interview.
Step 4: Decision
- Admissions decisions will be communicated via email on Friday, February 20, 2026.

- Saturday, February 7, 2026, 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- All candidates, for Toronto and West campuses, who meet the admissions requirements will be invited to participate in a group assessment (math, English and an activity), held at the Toronto Campus.
- In addition, applicants will be required to individually complete an online French test (if applicable) at home. Detailed instructions will be given closer to the assessment date.
Step 3: Online Interview
- Select candidates will be invited to a virtual parent and student interview.
Step 4: Decision
- Admissions decisions will be communicated via email on Friday, February 20, 2026.
TFS offers a full entrance scholarship program for students entering Grade 7 and up who demonstrate substantial financial need, strong academic standing and community involvement. The Entrance Scholarship is open to Canadian residents only. Read more.
The deadline to submit your scholarship application for the 2026-2027 school year is December 1, 2025.
No Gifts Policy
TFS' Admissions Office has a no-gifts policy. We respect the gesture of appreciation; however, we do not accept donations/gifts of any kind from prospective families.
