Alumni Association Executive

The Alumni Association Executive plays an important role. The president sits as an ex-officio member on the Toronto French School Board of Directors.

The volunteer Alumni Association executive, which meets five or more times a year, works closely with the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs and is involved in the following activities:

• Supporting School activities, including arranging for TFS alumni to interact with current students by attending career lunches for senior students, and acting as judges at annual debating tournaments and science fairs;
• Hosting chapter events in different cities; and
• Organizing a popular annual Alumni Reunion Weekend to honour classes celebrating their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year reunions.

Class Representatives

Class representatives represent the classes of 1975 through to 2009. They communicate with their peers, obtain information from them for the Class Notes section of Entre Nous, publicize and recruit volunteers for TFS events, assist in fundraising projects and offer their valuable opinions at the Executive Committee meetings. They are in touch with their classmates about the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year reunions that are held each year during the Alumni Reunion Weekend.
