Have Your Say: TFS Alumni of Distinction Award 2009

In 2008, Toronto French School Alumni Association (TFSAA) announced its first Alumni of Distinction Award, recognizing fellow alumni who have made a difference in the community and in the world. Each year, the Alumni Recognition Committee (ARC) will honour fellow alumni for their outstanding achievements and contributions to society.

Last year Carole Piovesan ’95 was presented with the inaugural award in recognition for her leadership, passion and work in the area of international human rights. An inspirational role model for students and alumni alike, Carole’s compassion, curiosity, and commitment to human rights reflects many of the values at the heart of the TFS community.
