Mississauga Students Present Dazzling Arts Spectacle

On the first of June, parents at the Mississauga campus were treated to an evening arts spectacle, courtesy of the talented Grade 5, 6 and 7 students.

After the Grade 7 and 6 students presented vocal and instrumental selections, the Grade 5 students performed the highlight of the evening: a French-language production based on The Lion King.

Every aspect of Le Roi Lion was created by the students, from the stunning African masks and costumes, to the gorgeous painted sunset back drop. As the hour-long production began, the students arrived on stage as many members of Africa’s animal kingdom, including lions, hyenas, moles, birds and monkeys.

To the soundtrack of African music, the students danced, performed both French and African songs, and treated the audience to an exceptional performance à la Broadway, all without having to make the long trek to New York.

Congratulations to all of our talented and creative Mississauga performers and their teachers, for this delightful event!
