Welcome to Our New Board Members
Edward “Ted” Riley:
Mr. Riley and his family moved to Canada in 2006 after which two of his three sons entered Toronto French School as Intro students. Today, his sons are in Grades 3, 5 and 6. Following 20 years spent in the entertainment business with Alliance Atlantis Communications, Mr. Riley is now retired; he sits on a variety of boards and is a consultant to many industries. With a passion for both sales and internationally minded education, Mr. Riley will sit on the Advancement and Vision Committees.
Tony Iantorno:
Mr. Iantorno became a TFS parent in 2003; he currently has one son in Grade 3 and another in SK at the Mississauga campus. Previously, Mr. Iantorno was a CFO and has over 10 years experience working in various locations world-wide. Now an owner of a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, time-to-market and change management, he brings these cumulative experiences and skills to both the Vision and Finance Committees.
Ken McRoberts:
Dr. McRoberts brings a fresh perspective to TFS. Since July 1999, he has been the Principal of Glendon College, York University and was recently appointed to a third, five-year term. Prior to his appointment, Dr. McRoberts was a Professor of Political Science at York University and Director of the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies, among other roles. He has written extensively on Quebec politics and Canadian federalism. In 2004, he was named an “Officier de l’Ordre des Palmes académiques” by the French government.
