TFS Launches an Educational Program for two year olds on its Toronto Campus!

Toronto French School is pleased to announce that, starting September 2010, we will offer a new full-day educational program for children two years of age, called le Jardin d’éveil .

This full-day learning program in French will require no pre-screening, with enrolment available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The program will stimulate children’s social, physical, cognitive and language development in a warm and nurturing environment. No prior exposure to French is necessary and children will learn French through games, musical activities, stories, drama, outdoor play, etc.  Children in le Jardin d’éveil will be served, at no charge, a hot lunch every school day.

Children who enrol in le Jardin d’éveil and want to continue at TFS will have to apply for Pre-Kindergarten and will be assessed in the same way we assess new prospective PK students. Moving up to PK is not guaranteed; however, le Jardin d’éveil students will have priority as returning students.

If you are interested in starting your child in a French program earlier than Pre-Kindergarten, and your child will be two years old by December 31, 2010, please contact the Admissions Department right away at 416-484-6533, ext. 4247, as space is limited.

We look forward to welcoming your child to our Jardin!
