Supporting the margin of excellence

When you make an annual gift to TFS you are not only making an investment in our School, but in our students.  Annual donations are critical in enabling TFS to provide the margin of excellence. These funds supplement the resources available to develop our curriculum, enhance our facilities and improve the student experience.

Our annual fund drive runs from March to December each year and the average tax-deductible gift from TFS parents is $1,500 per child.  Our goal this year is to raise $750,000 by December 2010.  Donors may choose to direct their gift to one of the School’s four priority areas:

  • Head’s Discretionary Fund
To fund areas of greatest need, including a new indoor playground at 101 Mildenhall, the Play & Sports Field, upgraded Science labs, greening initiatives, and an investment in the arts programs.

  • Academic Innovation
To support curriculum development, including teacher training for the IB Primary and Middle Years programs.

  • Endowment
To provide bursary support to TFS families facing financial difficulties.

  • Mississauga Fund
To support needs specific to our Mississauga campus, including an extra evening bus, a new parking lot, and co-curricular activities.
