The Toronto French School’s Library Information Centres at both the Toronto and Mississauga campuses aim to instil a love of reading and an enthusiasm for life-long learning.

Library staff members are committed to helping students to do the following:

  • Appreciate books as sources of knowledge, insight and enjoyment.
  • Learn to share communal learning materials and engage in co-operative learning.
  • Strengthen their ability to use print, non-print and electronic resources critically and appreciatively in all school subjects and in inter-disciplinary areas.
  • Master using a library and its various tools for research and information purposes to encourage life-long learning.
