West Campus students explore La Francophonie in Switzerland
3/18/2017
Grade 7 students from the West Campus recently travelled to Switzerland and learned about the different Swiss cultures and how the country embodies neutrality in its customs. Our students had an amazing time in Geneva, a city which holds so much European history and is home to more than 250 international organizations. Their time at the United Nations office coincided with the 34th Congress on Human Rights, one memorable moment for all!
They also strolled in the old city of Geneva, visited several museums, including the International Red Cross museum, and of course, learned how to make chocolate! Students also spent some time in Lausanne, where they visited the Olympic Museum and enjoyed the beautiful view of Lac Léman.
Thank you to everyone at Institut Florimont for their warm welcome in Switzerland. We look forward to welcoming you to TFS.
