20 student diplomats take on New York City

On February 27, a delegation of 20 TFS students travelled to New York City to take part in the National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN).
This event, the largest high school Model United Nations conference, is held at the UN and attended by hundreds of schools and thousands of delegates hailing from all over the world.
NHSMUN is known for its diverse, prestigious attendees, its world-class staff, and its engaging committee simulations. This amazing experience allowed our students to engage in meaningful exchanges with high-profile diplomats from around the world, sharpen their negotiating skills and reflect on the role of multilateral organizations.
Their dedication and hard work were acknowledged by the organizers of the conference, as the TFS team was honoured with the “Research and Preparation Award of Merit.”
