Norman Gaudet appointed TFS’ Head of School

The TFS Board of Directors recently announced Norman Gaudet as its new Head of School. After a transition period as acting Head of School since July 2021, his appointment is effective immediately.
M. Gaudet has spent the better part of 30 years at both elementary and secondary schools in Canada and internationally (Georgia, Nigeria, Yemen), almost 20 of which were in senior leadership roles, including head of school and principal. At TFS since 2016, he was Principal of the Senior School for five years, before being named Executive Director of our Learning Forum.
In this role, he oversaw the school’s pandemic plan and built a healthy and safe school community, all while supporting student learning at all four branches.
He holds a master’s degree in educational administration and is an Ontario-certified principal.
M. Gaudet is unabashedly student-centric, and believes in an education focused on academic rigour, real-world education and a meaningful international perspective. M. Gaudet has the respect and support of his senior staff and teachers, the confidence of parents and the approachability and leadership that TFS students desire.
