Thank you for another amazing year!
Thank you to the entire TFS community—students, parents, alumni and staff—for another remarkable year for TFS and the TFS Foundation.
Philanthropy hasn’t just been a tradition at TFS; it has been critical to our success from the very first day the school opened its doors in 1962. Your generosity helps give our students the best and most fulsome learning experiences and this empowers them to live the school’s vision and make an impact on the world with deep conviction.
As we get ready to wrap up another school year, we are pleased to share some of this year’s highlights:
- We continue to welcome a new TFS Entrance Scholarship student into our community each year, and this year, our very first recipient graduated!
- The Class of 2022 Fund Committee, led by Rosemary Barbara Cocq, raised more than $80,000, with more than 60% of graduating families participating.
- More than $110,000 was given in gratitude during our annual holiday appeal, beating our goal by more than 10%.
- For the first time ever, gifts made during registration were over $1.2 million - thank you!
- Our community rallied together like never before to honour one of its own, with more than $1,042,100 raised in honour of Mme Mirna Hafez.
We also have three new donors who have cumulatively given more than $1 million to TFS, and with those gifts and everything noted above, 2021-2022 will be one of our strongest fundraising years in the school’s history. During our 60th anniversary year, we look forward to sharing more of these wonderful stories with you.
