Creative and musical talent runs deep at the Senior School!
Earlier this term, music students in Levels II, III, IV and from co-curricular ensembles prepared, practised and produced quality audition videos of their individual solo performances and technical requirements.
These videos were submitted to the Conference of Independent Schools Music Festival examining board, in hopes of securing a spot in the three wind ensembles and the jazz band that represents their age groups.
These ensembles feature the strongest musicians from all independent schools in the CIS community. Out of thousands of applications, 14 incredible TFS musicians were accepted this year!
Our musicians will be representing TFS and performing with superb music ensembles at Roy Thomson Hall on Sunday, April 7, in front of an audience of 2,000.
Congratulations to all students who undertook this invaluable process and did a great job of advancing their talents through this audition.
