Grade 7 Students Discover Geneva!

Grade 7 students from our West Campus flew to Geneva, Switzerland for a 10-day trip to meet their exchange students from Institut Florimont, with whom they have been communicating throughout the year via emails or videoconferences.
Our students were able to immerse themselves in the Swiss culture by sharing moments with their local host families, by visiting some of the city’s iconic institutions such as the UN, the Red Cross Museum and the Museum of Science History, as well as taking part in a Swiss chocolate-making workshop. They also visited the town of Gruyères where they learned more about cheese-making.

Over the weekends, the students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities such as skiing or visiting the cantons surrounding Geneva and several French towns located near the border.

The students came back delighted with their stay abroad and now eagerly anticipate welcoming their Swiss counterparts to Toronto at the end of May.
