TFS Graduates

With a student body that celebrates more than 46 languages and a proudly co-educational,  non-denominational learning environment, the students taking the next steps of their academic journey beyond TFS are a model of diversity and pluralism. A common thread woven into the fabric of each TFS graduate is a set of core values espoused by the school: discernment, integrity, respect and engagement. Prone to discovery and open to exploration, their time at TFS has cultivated our graduates as global citizens, equipped to be real-world problem solvers and determined to be drivers of change. They leap out into the world ready to live the TFS motto, Individuals who reflect, Citizens who act

Graduating with 3 Diplomas: OSSD, IB, Brevet

All TFS graduates receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD/DESO) and earn the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. In Grade 9, students take the Diplôme National du Brevet des Collèges, a set of external examinations administered on behalf of France’s Ministry of Education. In order to accommodate the increased curricular demands of the French system, Ontario and the IB, our students have earned most Ontario Grade 9, 10 and 11 credits a year ahead of their peers in the province.
As they embrace university life at their post-secondary institution of choice, our alumni report with enthusiasm that the preparation they received at TFS has allowed them to quickly adapt and excel. In their own words they describe how the renowned academic rigour and focus on critical thinking at TFS primed them well for the transition to higher learning.

IB DIPLOMA

Most TFS students pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, with the majority completing the Bilingual IB Diploma in French. Some students are course candidates.
