Le cercle de l’amitié: Coming full circle
When Le cercle de l'amitié was introduced at the start of this year, it offered our community a tangible opportunity to leave a permanent mark on the future of TFS West Campus.
Modern panels will form a symbolic circle around a newly planted tree along the walkway to the future Athletic Wing. Families, alumni and friends were invited to make a gift to honour a loved one, recognize someone who shaped their TFS experience or commemorate their own connection to the school.
The response was remarkable. Of the 50 available recognition spaces on Le cercle, only one remains.
This extraordinary show of support speaks to the spirit of friendship, generosity and belonging that has long defined West Campus. Each engraved name represents a story, a memory and a shared belief in the importance of providing students with an exceptional educational experience.
Set to open in September of 2026, the new Athletic Wing will become a vibrant centre of campus and community life. Home to the long-awaited regulation-size gymnasium, it will be a place where students compete, build confidence, discover new passions and experience the camaraderie that comes from working toward a common goal. By hosting tournaments and events in the regulation-size gym, students will be able to build and develop their TFS pride.
Le cercle de l'amitié stands at the entrance to this exciting new chapter. Encircling a growing tree, the completed circle will serve as a lasting tribute to the people whose generosity and belief in TFS helped our school continue to blossom.
To everyone who claimed a place in Le cercle de l'amitié, thank you. Your support strengthens the future of West Campus and creates a legacy that students will encounter each day as they walk through its doors.
With just one space remaining, there is still an opportunity to become part of this enduring symbol of friendship and generosity at TFS. Please contact Kristen McGraw, Senior Director of Development, at [email protected] for more information.
