TFS celebrates academic excellence at the 2025 Scholars Guild dinner
Honorary society recognizes students’ intellectual curiosity and bilingualism
On the evening of October 30, 2025, TFS hosted its annual Scholars Guild event, a long-standing tradition since 1988.
The Scholars Guild is an honorary society comprising of 45 students from Levels II to V that recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, critical thinking and engagement in the life of the school. Each year, students from Levels II and III are inducted into the Lycée des aristotéliciens, while those from Levels IV and V join the Académie des platoniciens. Together, while sharing an evening banquet, students exchanged ideas and held thoughtful conversations in both French and English.
This year’s guest speaker was Nadia Campion ‘98, whose distinguished career as a lawyer defending linguistic rights inspired rich discussion among the scholars. Nadia shared her thoughts on the central role bilingualism plays in our national identity and reflected on how a bilingual education she received at TFS empowered her to become an advocate for language rights at the highest levels of the Canadian justice system.
The evening concluded with the presentation of diplomas to the newly inducted scholars, formally recognizing their place within this tradition of academic excellence.
