TFS musicians perform in a night to remember

The TFS orchestra was invited to perform at the Grand Gala and Business Awards organized by the France Canada Chamber of Commerce Ontario (FCCCO), on October 10.
This gala was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Toronto, and was attended by a number of prestigious guests including the French Minister of Culture, Franck Riester, the French Ambassador to Canada, Kareen Rispal, and the Consul General of France in Toronto, Tudor Alexis.

Conducted by Rupert Price, music teacher, the repertoire played by the 42 students included the French and Canadian anthems, as well as a selection of popular French music. Two Level II students, Angélique E. and Tiger L., went on to deliver a brilliant interpretation of “L’Hymne des Fraternisés.”

The talent of the TFS orchestra is already widely recognized. Over the past five years, our orchestra was awarded either the gold or silver standard at MusicFest Canada, one of the biggest educational music festivals in North America.
