A delightful, bustling Marché d’hiver

On November 23, TFS hosted its third annual Marché d’hiver – a winter market. More than 1,000 visitors got to peruse an array of exquisite items of all kinds offered by 40+ curated vendors, from clothing, jewelry and décor to children’s toys, objets d’art and foodstuffs.
The Food Hall in La Terrasse brought to mind the celebrated historical venues found across Europe, filled with treats and the offerings of great coffee and wine. This year, there was a special focus on Switzerland, with an impressive Made in Switzerland pop-up welcoming visitors, as the selection of Swiss cheeses on display delighted cheese lovers.

The principals signed their annual book recommendations, aimed at both students and parents, and led engaging workshops that stimulated children’s creativity. Meanwhile, our Students Doing Good booth allowed the Champions of Change to support efforts to build a school in Laos to address gender inequality, and the Globe/Actions-enviro societies to support ocean clean-up.

None of this would have been possible without the organizational masterminds heading the Marché d’hiver committee, and their many volunteers. Thank you!
