Annual TFS Fashion Show brings “Revival” to the Senior School
The annual student-led TFS Fashion Show took place on Friday, December 5, transforming the Senior School into an energetic celebration of creativity under this year’s theme, Revival.
The show guided the audience through five chapters: EDEN, DECAY, DEMISE, DREAM and REBORN, exploring a journey from past to present and toward a hopeful future.
More than just a display of fashion, the event was a major collaborative effort, featuring the work of students and teachers across many areas. Teams contributed to clothing design, makeup, logistics, marketing, supervision and overall show coordination, showcasing the strength of our school’s creative community.
What gave the night its deeper meaning was its charitable mission. All proceeds from the night will be donated to Create Change, a registered Canadian charity supporting girls in Ghana as they lead educational programs that help rebuild their communities. Although founder Shannen O’Brien could not attend the event in person, as she was in Africa leading the charity’s initiatives on the ground, she opened the show with a heartfelt video message, reinforcing the the night’s purpose: “When you create a female leader, you not only change her life, but you change the lives of everyone impacted by the change she leads.”
The charity’s impact underscore the significance of the show’s fundraising:
1,100+ youth in the developed world have grown in confidence and skill through its leadership programs.
2,500+ girls and women in Ghana have gained access to education, skills training and leadership opportunities
100,000+ people living in extreme poverty have had their lives transformed by the community projects led by these empowered women.
From the beauty of EDEN to the hope in REBORN, the TFS Fashion Show 2025 successfully married artistic vision with a social purpose, leaving the audience inspired by both the creativity on stage and the tangible change their support will help create.
