This March Break, TFS students visited UNESCO headquarters in Paris for a unique look at international diplomacy in action. Exploring the landmark site, designed by Bernard Zehrfuss, Marcel Breuer and Pier Luigi Nervi, the group viewed iconic works by Miró, Picasso and Calder. The visit offered a rare chance to see diplomacy unfold firsthand, beyond the classroom.
Following the tour, students met with members of the Canadian Delegation, including Joël Monfils (Chargé d’affaires) and Carina Sabou (Programme Officer), to discuss Canada’s current priorities. The experience concluded with a discussion on career paths in international relations with specialists Matthieu Niango and TFS Alumna Christine Kavazanjian ’05 . We are deeply grateful to Christine for her invitation and for providing our students with such an inspiring look at global service.
