  • 35 years of IB at TFS | A moment they’re prepared for

    This year, as we mark 35 years of implementing the IB programme at TFS, we’re reminded how this decision continues to shape the experience of every student and staff who walks through our doors. As our Level V students navigate the final stretch of their IB Diploma examinations, we're reminded that this milestone is the culmination of years of intentional preparation. We are pleased to have Dr. Jennifer Elliott, Director of Teaching and Learning & IB Diploma Coordinator, share how our educators build this foundation from the ground up to ensure students are truly ready for this moment. Through an exploration of our IB continuum and insights from our faculty, we look at how the skills, habits and confidence developed at TFS empower students to succeed.   • Entrepreneurship in action: The inaugural TFS Cougars’ Den

    The auditorium lights dimmed and the room fell silent as the spotlight turned toward the stage. One by one, students stepped forward to pitch ideas they had spent months building, testing and refining. It was the culmination of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business (EIB) program at TFS – and the launch of the first-ever TFS Cougars’ Den.

  • TFS parents engage the digital world in a Thrive: Speaker Series

    On Thursday, April 9, we were pleased to host a Senior School book study in Evershed as part of the Thrive: Speaker Series. The session focused on Growing Up in Public: Coming of Age in a Digital World by Devorah Heitner, an American author and speaker whose work explores how children and teens develop identity and boundaries while growing up in an increasingly connected digital world.

  • TFS students excel at Model UN in Morocco

    “In the face of emergency in war, how can the UN act?”
    This was the central question facing Level III and IV TFS Model UN students as they traveled to Morocco for AMMUN (André Malraux Model UN). This prestigious conference provided our students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step into the shoes of global diplomats within a vibrant and complex political landscape.
