  • Academic ambition

The West Campus follows the same unparalleled curriculum as the Toronto campus, that of France and Ontario taught through the framework established by the IB programs. Meet our West Campus principal and read more about academics at the West Campus.
    • We educate students from Pre-Kindergarten (PK) to Grade 7. Most of our students continue at the Toronto campus from Grade 8 onwards.
    • We offer a highly successful Introductory French program for students entering the school from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 7 who have little or no knowledge of French.
  • All-round development of students as individuals and citizens

Athletics, arts, co-curricular activities, trips and leadership opportunities are all part of the rich educational experience for our students at the West Campus. Read more here.
  • Activities extraordinaires

    • As a member of the Private School Athletic Association (PSAA) in Peel region, we compete against teams from other independent schools
    • Competitive teams include soccer, cross-country, swimming, floor hockey, basketball, softball and track and field
    • Visual art and music are taught by specialist teachers
    • Drama productions are presented annually on the school’s stage
    • The school has two gyms, a dedicated play area for the PK and JK students, an outdoor classroom, natural climbing structures, a reading corner with seating, a maze and many shade-giving trees

Trips and exchanges at TFS are thoughtfully created with attention to students’ needs and interests, and real-world ties to learning. Read more about trips and exchanges.

Our West Campus offers many opportunities for our students to develop as leaders. Activities include the Grade 2s conducting a toy drive, students leading literature circles with their peers, and Grade 4 students monitoring the school's recycling efforts and reporting back to the community.

Just like their peers at the Toronto campus, the Grade 5 students at the West Campus also lead initiatives inside and outside of the school to promote positive change on the issues they researched for their Primary Years Program (PYP) Exhibit, the culminating project of the PYP years.

Grades 6 and 7 take on greater roles as student leaders in their school community. The Grade 6 Reading Buddies read with a Grade 1 student each week, while the Grade 7 Homework Helpers offer homework guidance to younger students after school.

And every Valentine's Pyjama Day, a Grade 7 student leads a food drive for the Mississauga Food Bank.
